Miss thumb shifters? Converting a drop bar bike to flat bars? The Paul Components Shimano Thumbies (MTB pair/black) easily transform bar end (aka barcon or TT) shifters into thumb shifters.

The shifters are not included, but are readily available in 8 through 11-speed versions, and many have an option for friction-shifting.

The head and shaft are made from a special high strength 2024 aluminium alloy. The shaft is precision ground to 27.2mm and the head is machined separately before being screwed and bonded into the shaft.

Paul Components Touring Cantilever Brake - Black

The Paul Components Touring Canti brake (black) is a powerful cantilever brake with a similar design to the Neo-Retro, but with the arms angled upward. This gives the brake a much narrower profile without significantly reducing stopping power.
The narrower profile of the Touring Canti can be desirable if you're riding with large panniers or if your current brakes don't give you enough heel or calf clearance. The arms of the Touring Canti are machined from lightweight 6061 aluminum. Their T-shaped cross section prevents the brake from flexing too much under load. The brake pads mount to slots in the arms that allow for vertical positioning. The toe-in and angle can be fine tuned thanks to the spherical washers on the brake pads' threaded posts.
Like all of Paul Components brakes, the Touring Canti has a sealed pivot mechanism. Rubber seals and a stainless steel bushing keep the brake arms turning smoothly no matter what you're riding through. The spring tension can be adjusted in both pivots to center the brake and to adjust the strength of the return swing.
The Touring Canti comes with pivots pre-greased and with all necessary hardware.

Paul Components Word Disc Fixed Rear Hub - Black

The hub that started all that single speed mountain bike silliness. The Wacky One-speed Rear Device.

When Paul Components first introduced Wacky One-Speed Rear Device (W.O.R.D.), it was the first purpose-built single speed mountain bike hub. That original hub not only set design standards that continue to this day, like a 52mm fixed gear chainline.

When designing this modern version of the WORD, they spread the flanges out as far as possible while leaving room for freewheel threading. This allows the WORD to be built up as a strong dishless wheel. Over the years they’ve also improved upon the original axle and bearing adjustment mechanism.

The WORD comes with special machined axle bolts. The washers are made of brass and have deeply knurled contact faces. This ensures they’ll grip onto dropout faces without marring the frame, yet will still be able to be loosened easily trail side.

The WORD can be easily adjusted with cinch bolt style adjuster ring. Spoke holes are chamfered and the flanges are canted towards the rim to reduce stress on the head and elbow of the spoke.
