Paul Components Canti Levers (Set) - Silver

The Paul Components Canti Levers set (silver) are short pull brake levers for use with short pull brakes like cantilevers, centerpull brakes, and side pull caliper brakes. Their design balances comfort and weight without feeling flimsy in your hand.
They feature a very comfortable grip and an excellent feel. They also have a reach adjustment screw, an un-strippable clamp screw and Hollow Lite pivot pin.
The pivot features a lightweight hollow pin made of stainless steel and its large bearing surface and precise machining reduces play while allowing the lever to swing smoothly. A 5mm set screw in the side of the lever perch allows you to adjust the reach, setting the distance from the bar to the lever to fit your hands.
Barrel adjusters are included for fine-tuning your brakes, and their oversized design and smooth shape makes it easy to adjust them by hand.

Paul Components Chain Keeper - Black

The Chain Keeper is a guide to keep your chain right where it belongs.

Mounted in place of a front derailleur, the Chain Keeper works with single chain ring drivetrains using a narrow chain. The chain block surrounds the chain as it meets the chainring and prevents it from skipping off.

The Chain Keeper clamps on to the seat tube of the frame. The portion of seat tube where the clamp mounts must have a circular profile and a diameter of 28.6, 31.8, or 35.0mm, (+/-0.5mm).

Designed with adjustability in mind, the Chain Keeper can accommodate a range of chainline measurements and chainring sizes. However please note that Chain Keeper may not work with all frames.

Note: This product is not designed for downhill, freeride, or big hit use.

Paul Components Cross Lever (Single) - Black

The Paul Components Cross Lever (single, black) is an in-line brake lever designed for use on the flat upper section of drop handlebars. It can be used with short-pull or long-pull brakes and road bars. By routing your existing brake cable and housing from your drop levers through the Cross Lever, you can have two sets of brake levers that allow you to control your speed from multiple hand positions.
The Cross Lever fits onto the thicker stem clamp area of handlebars, and a hinged clamp allows for installation without needing to strip your bar tape.
The Cross Lever can also be used on its own: just let the head of brake cable sit in the recess for the housing on the outside of the lever. A barrel adjuster makes it easy to fine tune your cable tension.
Two versions are available to fit handlebars with a stem clamp area diameter of 26.0mm or 31.8mm. Additionally, the hinged clamp of a 26.0mm Cross Lever is designed in a way that also allows it to mount securely on handlebars with a 25.4mm diameter stem clamp area.
Fully CNC'd construction gives them a solid feel in the hand, and they are designed to work with any kind of brake. The Cross Lever is both a Short Pull and a Long Pull lever, depending upon the position of the adjustable pivot.
The levers come with their pivot pins in the hole closest to the handlebar. This location is for short pull brakes, like road calipers, centerpull cantilever brakes, and road mechanical disk brakes. Moving the pivot pin to the outer hole makes the levers compatible with long pull brakes, like Motolites, V-Brakes and mountain mechanical disk brakes.

Paul Components Disc Klamper (Post Mount)

Three years of development and Paul think they nailed it. The Paul Components Post Mount Klamper is 100% designed, tested and manufactured in house. Settling on the tried and true ball bearing in a ramp system, Paul refined some details; using bigger balls for smoothness and increased pad travel and hardened steel for where the balls contact the ramps.
Then instead of a plastic thrust washer, they used a flat needle roller thrust bearing. As for the caliper body - Paul beefed up the body where needed and added “fangs” to the inner backing plate all to increase stiffness.
For easy pad adjustability but staying power, detents were designed into the circumference, located with spring ball plungers. The pads are Kool-Stop sintered metallic. We believe this is the best mechanical caliper ever made for a bicycle.

Paul Components E-Lever (Single) - Black

The Paul Components E-Lever (single/black) is a small single-finger, short-pull brake lever. It works with standard side-pull caliper, cantilever, and other short-pull brakes.

There’s something to be said for the clean looks of bare track handlebars, but riding brakeless can be hazardous on the road. The E-Lever is a tiny brake lever that keeps your handlebars looking clean while providing that extra braking power when needed.

Because of its compact design, the E-Lever has less leverage. For this reason we cannot recommend it for use as the sole method of braking. The E-Lever should only be used in conjunction with other brake mechanisms such as a fixed gear hub or coaster brake.

This lever is available in two clamp diameters to fit road and mountain handlebars. The 23.8mm version fits on the narrower grip section of road handlebars. The 22.2mm version fits standard mountain bike handlebars. There is an integrated barrel adjuster for quick adjustments.

Paul Components Gino Light Mount - Black

Some of the best ideas are the simplest, and the Gino Light Mount is a clever part with a simple design.

The Gino Light Mount provides a mounting point for handlebar lights wherever there is an M5 threaded eyelet on your frame. With the Gino lights can be positioned at mid-fork or down by the dropouts, or attached to rack eyelets on the back of the frame.

By lowering the attachment point of your light it casts its beam on the ground at a much shallower angle. This results in a lighting pattern that better reveals contours and hidden bumps in the road.

Paul Components Melvin Chain Tensioner - Black

The Paul Components Melvin Chain Tensioner (black) bolts to the frame where the rear derailleur would normally go and allows the use of a single speed rear wheel on bikes with vertical dropouts.

Vertical dropouts hold the rear axle at a fixed distance from the cranks. Nine times out of ten this doesn't put the rear wheel at the right spot for a single speed drivetrain and the result is a chain that is too loose or too tight. The Melvin takes care of the chain tension and lets you run a single speed wheel on almost any frame with a derailleur hanger.

The Melvin uses two pulleys, just like a rear derailleur, which gives it 20 teeth of chain wrap. This means that the Melvin will work with multiple front chain rings while maintaining proper chain tension. Of course this is no longer a true single speed, but can come in handy when two or three gears is all you need. Twenty teeth of chain wrap means that chain rings with a maximum difference of twenty teeth can be used up front.

The mounting pivot has spacers that can be arranged to adjust the chainline. Chainline spacers allow it to work with most hubs. In addition to the pivot spacers, the pulleys have side to side float to quiet slight variances in chainline.

Pulleys are made of extruded and machined aluminium and have sealed bearings for durability. They are 2.25mm thick at the tooth which fits inside most narrow multi-speed chains, and the pulley cage is wide enough to allow 1/8" single speed chains as well.

Paul Components Microshift Thumbies - Black

Miss thumb shifters? Converting a drop bar bike to flat bars? Want to run a Shimano MTB drivetrain on your drop-bar bike, with shifting accessible right from the flats? These easily transform bar end (aka barcon or TT) shifters into thumb shifters. The shifters are not included, but are readily available in 8 through 11-speed versions, and many have an option for friction-shifting. These mounts are also compatible with the Microshift Alfine/Nexus 8-speed shifter. Be sure you are using the MTB Microshift (or Gevenalle) model, as the Road version is smaller and will not fit.

Thumbies bring back the thumb shifting of old, and we think it makes shifting more precise and smoother. These feel much better in our opinion than trigger or twist shifters.

Thumbies have a hinged clamp for an easy installation and fit handlebars with a diameter of 22.2mm or 31.8mm. 22.2mm is equivalent to 7/8 inches, and is the diameter of most mountain bike handlebars. Many flat bars, risers and city bars have this diameter. It is measured at the end of the bar where grips and brake levers attach. 31.8mm is most commonly used on modern road handlebars near where the stem clamps.

The clamp is raised up to give clearance for hydraulic brake levers.

They have a shifter mounting boss that fits Microshift and Gevenalle mountain shifters.
